In this second piece, the moment emerges in which sorrow is no longer pushed away, but held with care. The figure bends toward her own tears, as if trying to understand what she carries within her. The cords slipping through her hands — white with a red thread — express the tension between fragility and strength, between letting go and holding on.
This work shows a phase in which emotions become tangible. Grief gains shape, structure and weight. By catching the tears, an intimate gesture of self‑care arises: acknowledging what hurts without being overwhelmed by it. The tilt of the head, the attentive gaze and the gentle tension in the hands create a quiet moment of inner honesty.
As part of the triptych, this piece forms the transition between anger and acceptance. It is the middle ground where the storm settles and vulnerability becomes visible. The red thread running through all three works connects the stages into one continuous story of processing, remembrance and growth.
