I Am Serenity

I Am Serenity

50 x 60 x 35 cm, © 2018, price on request
Three-dimensional | Sculpture | Papier-mache

This sculpture portrays a woman’s head resting gently in her own hands — a moment of returning to herself.
Created from solid papier-mâché and paper pulp, the piece radiates both vulnerability and inner strength.

Her fingers extend into the open space around her, claiming their place both literally and symbolically.
She carries mehndi patterns on her hands, symbols of identity, protection, and personal expression.

Along the elongated fingers, the mantra ‘I am’ is written — a quiet yet powerful reminder of presence, self‑worth, and the serenity that comes from simply existing.
